This project is a refurbishment of a two-year old elevated, integrally-colored, backyard concrete terrace that was sealed improperly.  We began by testing several different chemical strippers (photo above right).

     After successfully stripping the sealer (above left), we also removed the joint sealant from the saw-cuts, and then began to re-seal the terrace with a high quality, solvent-based acrylic sealer (above right).
     We then re-filled the saw-cuts with a custom-colored, high quality, weather-resistant, polyurea joint sealant (above left), and then shaved off the excess with a 4" floor scraper.  See the finished patio (above right and below).
