This is an early 1900's concrete floor, in a commercial space, that was resurfaced with Ardex SDT, a light gray, self-leveling cement. The floor was then sealed with a water-based clear epoxy.
A clear, matte floor finish was then applied on top of the epoxy sealer to dull down the high gloss. You can see the difference in the photo below right.
Below left shows the original condition of the concrete floor after the embedded wooden slats were removed. Below right, the newly resurfaced floor is protected with Ram Board during the buildout process.
