Lightbody Residence

This is garage concrete floor of a home in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. The floor had extreme pitting, so much so that most contractors or owners wouldn’t think of decorating it. But we ground it clean with the idea that the pitting would help the concrete, after staining, look like natural rock.

We also saw-cut the floor and filled the joints with a joint filler in a complementary color as the floor. The final floor was colored dark brown and black with gold accenting in the joints, and looked fantastic.
